The Harvester of Light

Harvesters of Light Banner

What price would you pay to live forever? In a time when technology gives you the choice of trading your humanity for immortality, war has broken out between those who have chosen eternal life, known as harvesters, and the last bastion of humans who view death as a small price to pay to retain their immortal souls. Struggling to live in what’s left of a post-nuclear United States, Skye and her best friend Ash rescue a stranger named Jace from a torturous interrogation at the hands of harvesters. During the scuffle, Ash is seriously injured with no hope of survival until a mysterious woman appears out of no where. The woman instructs Skye to journey to the Southern Kingdom, a haven built by the surviving members of humanity, if she ever wants to be with Ash again. “Our fates are in your hands. Don’t fail us,” the woman warns Skye before literally vanishing into thin air, taking Ash with her. Desperate to be reunited with Ash, Skye travels with Jace through the treacherous Eastern Kingdom, adding members to their party along the way and discovering Harvesters aren’t the only ones with supernatural powers. Unexpectedly, Skye finds herself having to cope with her burgeoning feelings for Jace. Feelings of love she never thought she would have for anyone but Ash.

After finally reaching the Southern Kingdom, Skye soon realizes it isn’t the nirvana she always dreamt it would be. Through a series of events, Skye must face the Queen of the Eastern Kingdom once again and discover for herself what the true difference is between a harvester and a human.

In the finale to the Harvester of Light Trilogy, Skye learns the depths to which Lucena Day, self-proclaimed Queen of the Eastern Kingdom, will go to in order to bring her back by her side. With Jace as her constant, Skye meets the challenges the queen places in her way as she fights to bring life back into the world with the first dawn.

On Kindle when you purchase Dawn, you actually do not get the back. It has its cover but it’s Vankara. Im dying to read the last book. Hope they fix this/

I’m trying to buy the first book Harvester, and it is no longer available on Kobo and it appears to not come in hard copy. Is this correct? Is there any other way I can get it other than having to buy a Kindle?

I have read the trilogy, I couldn’t put it down, when is book 4 coming out?

I have now officially read everything you have written with the exception of the Vankara series, I was hesitate to read the Harvester of Light Trilogy but once I started the series I could not put it down and read the entire trilogy in less than 4 days. I’m really hoping that you have given some thought in continuing that storyline. There is so much that has been left unsaid, there is a whole world to rebuild, Skye is still a harvester after, what challenges does she face in the future. Not to mention Ash’s story. Just curious?

If there was more interest in this series, I would return to it sooner. As it is, there are more readers interested in the Watcher storyline. I do have an idea that would allow me to continue Skye’s story. I might write it one day if I find the time. But there just isn’t too much of a demand for it.

It is nothing but the truth. When things slow down a little bit, I am going to try promoting them more. I certainly think the series is a must-read.

Thanks, Karen! You know, it’s my dad’s favorite series that I’ve written lol. He’s hooked on the Watchers, but the Harvester books are the ones he likes best. Guess I’ll need to continue the story for him one day 😉

Hi Sandra. I love your books and have read all of them. The Harvester of Light Trilogy is my favorite. I read them on my kindle but wanted to buy hardcovers to have in my room. When I go to Amazon, the cover is different from the covers on your website and the ebooks I bought a year or so ago. Do you know of a way to get the books in hardcover with the old cover?
